Summer Bishil (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1985) is an American actress, best recognized for her role as Margo for the role of Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy television series of fantasy dramas that aired through 2015. Her prior role as a Lebanese American teens Jasira who is undergoing a series of personal struggles with the backdrop of the U.S. intervention in Iraq during the Gulf War was featured in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. Her character was then picked as one of the 10 actors in Variety's list of actors to watch in 2007. She portrayed another highly-rated character Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 thriller Crossing Over for which she received nominations for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Leading Actress category. The actress has also appeared in a number of films, including The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and she has appeared in a variety of guest roles on television apart from playing co-lead on Lucky 7.
